TARRAGONINA
Creation and declaration of a corridor of protected marine areas on the coast of Tarragona.
To create a corridor of marine protected areas, analyzing three zones: Espai d'interès natural (EIN) de la platja de Torredembarra, EIN del Torn i la Rojala (Vandellòs - l'Hospitalet de l'Infant) i EIN del Cap de Santes Creus de l'Ametlla de mar.

Work packages
- Analysis of the three areas using different approaches (scientific, management, socioeconomic) in order to evaluate the viability of a legal protection.
- Development of a education, communication and environmental participation in the areas selected, in order to generate consciousness in the citizens about the necessity of preserving the marine environments and the environmental services that they provide.
- Participation process oriented to specific sectors with special incidence and/or activities linked to the marine and coastal environment, building trust and synergies among the stakeholders in the project (administrations, economic sectors, citizens, etc.)
